Are You One Of The 32 Million?

A recent Barna pole shows that only 51% of all faith voters are likely to vote in November. That means 104 million faith voters are unlikely to vote this election—including 32 million regular Christian church attenders.

How can a Christian be indifferent to one of the most critical elections of our lifetime? Some believers spiritualize the election and refrain from voting saying, “the gospel is more important than politics.” Guess what? Christians may lose the freedom and privilege we have to preach the gospel depending on which candidate becomes president. In Communist China, they are prohibited from teaching the Bible. In Islamic countries, they will receive the death penalty if caught preaching the gospel. Will you rise up and vote to protect our religious freedoms if nothing else?

Thousands of people have died for us to have the right to vote. We must do our part and vote for the candidate whose track record most aligns with biblical values. If you don’t vote, your silence equals consent. “The Bible says in Proverbs 29:2, ‘when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan."
