In charge of Scientology's Celebrity Center Amy Scobee recruited celebrities into the church and kept them hidden from its dark underbelly. After twenty-seven years she left Scientology and wrote an account of her experiences and was featured in episode 1 of 'Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. Never planning to be associated with any religious organization for the rest of her life, in 2018 Amy had a Divine encounter.
