This episode goes beyond the societal norms to share the truth about what has been normalized. This episode will equip you to answer the question of what our nation must do when it comes to abortion. So I want to dive right into this, and we're going to do that first by drawing some parallels to some other issues in the history of America that came up that were settled not at the state level. Here's the question Was slavery a state's issue? No, we had the 13th Amendment. Was due process under law a state's issue? No, we had the 14th Amendment. Was the right for women to vote a state's issue? Nope, we had the 15th Amendment. You see all of these. The answer is no, because these are human rights issues. It is a constitutional right. God gives us our rights, inalienable rights. That's what that means. It means that, by virtue of being human, we have these rights given to us by God. The government doesn't give us these rights. The government is to protect these rights, and so when the government doesn't do that, that's a violation, a dereliction of duty of the government. They're stepping outside the bounds of what God has ordained and set apart for the government to be doing. The government's job is to do two things to promote good and to punish evil. Two things promote good, punish evil. And well, no state today could take away the voting rights of women or black people or Hispanics or Asian Americans. They just can't do that. Citizens have a right to vote and I would even argue that in the 14th Amendment, where it says due process under law, it says no person shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process under law deprived of life. So right there it's, literally in the 14th Amendment. We have the right to life. Well, when does life begin? Well, science, trust the science, right Science tells us that life begins at conception. It has its unique DNA, it has all the intrinsic abilities to grow into what it's going to become, and it's already that. And when I say what it's going to become, I mean things like the baby's ability to hear, the ability to walk, have all the body parts. All of this is right there, at the moment of conception, unique DNA from the mom and from the dad, completely separate, and so that right, there should be enough. But again, god gives us our rights and the government's job is to protect those rights. Therefore, what should we do to deal with the issue of abortion today? Pro-life, we need a constitutional amendment. That's exactly how these things were managed to abolish slavery, to give the right to vote and to give due process. All of these amendments were because they were human rights. And what do we have today? We have human rights being discussed with regard to the pre-born. It was good that the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade from 1973 recently and returned it to the states Now, but it shouldn't stop there. You see, roe v Wade was a bogus ruling in the first place. It should have never happened. And so, yes, they should undo that and push it back to the states. That's good, okay, but we're having the wrong discussion today. I've watched the presidential debates for the 2024 presidential election. What are they talking about? The first debate they're talking about at what stage of pregnancy should abortions be allowed? That's the wrong discussion. That's the wrong discussion. They're saying, oh, six weeks, 12 weeks, 15 weeks? We have a heartbeat bill in Iowa and many other states. It's what? Gestational age? Well, it's a life. And so if we wouldn't take the life of a two-year-old standing next to you and you wouldn't take the life of a one-year-old or a five-day-old, what's the difference between the moment before it's born, or three months before it's born, or nine months before it's born? There's no difference. It's a difference in location and it's a difference in age. That's it. So we must all, all of these presidential candidates. Everybody must be calling for an absolute abolition of abortion. That is what we need. We need a constitutional amendment to abolish abortion In the 1800s okay, they didn't get into the nuances of when slavery should be allowed. Okay, well, under these circumstances and under the okay, yeah, then this person did it. No, it was a violation of human rights. Therefore, done, need the amendment, need the constitutional amendment? Well, just before the Civil War, there was 19 free states and 15 slave states. 13th Amendment was proposed in 1864 and ratified in 1865. It abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, except for people convicted of a crime. So it would be things that they're doing while in jail. Well, abortion, what do we have today? We have 23 states that have defunded or attempted to defund the abortion industry and Medicaid, title X and state appropriations. We have 12 states that have taken steps to directly fund abortion, fund abortion and abortion providers, and we have 15 states that have not taken any action to defund abortion providers. So we've got a lot going on at the state level and some of those are violations of human rights. In fact, any of them that are not absolute abolition, which would be all of them, are violations of human rights, the right to life, and here's how we want to. I want to summarize this. This is really the take home. They didn't say slavery is abolished unless it's decided that the child will be a slave before it's born. They didn't say women can vote unless it's decided before they're born that they can't vote. They didn't say everyone has due process under law unless it's decided before they're born that they don't. And we cannot say everyone has a right to life unless it's decided before they're born that they don't. These are human rights issues. This is a human rights issue. It is absolutely way far and above and beyond just a state's issue. This needs to be a constitutional amendment to absolutely abolish abortion, because even no exceptions, there's no nuances. We don't say because this slave was, this person was conceived in rape, they can be a slave for the rest of their life. We don't say because this person was conceived in incest, they can be a slave for the rest of their life. That would be unspeakable in your mind, probably, to consider that. Well, it should be unspeakable that we would kill somebody. I mean, there are people walking around today that were conceived in rape and incest. They're walking around today and they got value. And so if you could take their life. If someone could take their life before they were born, what's the difference between taking their life now? I mean, could a mom or dad decide a couple years later? Well, you know what made the wrong decision? No, of course not. And you see, we have just let this narrative be taken by the left and by those who want to make up rights, so-called reproductive rights. Those are not rights. You see, rights have responsibilities, a corresponding responsibility. When someone, when I have a right to freedom of speech, okay, that means someone else has a responsibility to not infringe on my right to freedom of speech. If I have a right to life, that means someone else has a responsibility to not infringe on my right to life. Now, there are nuances that come in where, if somebody's threatening my life, well then they've sort of given up their right and I can defend myself against them. Okay, that's different. If someone is coming after my free speech, well then, that's an issue. They're not fulfilling their responsibility. And you see, all of these rights can be at the same time exercised and there are back and forth around when a violation is happening of a responsibility and a right and how that can happen. So these reproductive rights don't exist, because for one to exercise one right violates the right of another. You see, that's a good indication to you that it's not a right. So if a woman's gonna exercise her right to kill a baby, well then that's violating the rights of the baby. You see, there's an indication to you that maybe one of those isn't a real right, it's a made up right. So you can see, here, this is a very I'm very passionate about this topic and we all should be, and every presidential candidate, including Donald Trump, needs to come out and say we will abolish abortion. That's really what needs to be happening. Do I think that's gonna happen? Well, you know, god parted the sea and Israel walked through it. So, yeah, anything's possible. But I can tell you what not gonna happen when the church continues to not repent, continues to not speak up about issues, continues to not tell the truth about these things, continues to not hold people accountable. So praise God that we do have the church starting to speak up. And we need to repent. We need to look at ourselves first. You know, the Bible says that if my people will humble themselves and repent and call upon my name, I will heal their land, my people. So we need to be influencing, we need to be speaking the truth and we need to abolish abortion. We need a constitutional amendment. What do you think about this?
