ZION: A Powerful Name for God’s People (157)
The word “Zion” means fortress. Biblically, it refers to seven distinct things, including God’s people and the eternal city in which they will dwell. Those who are born again are in covenant with the King of Zion (Yeshuah) and called to personify this title, becoming a fortress of truth in a world full of deception, a fortress of faith in a world full of unbelief, and a fortress of love in a world full of hatred. And that's just the beginning of this grand revelation.
