Are There Mansions in Heaven? And Three Other Afterlife Questions (201)
Right before leaving, Jesus told His disciples, “Let not your heart be troubled . . . In My Father’s house are many mansions . . . I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:1-2). Will there be literal “mansions” in heaven for God’s eternal offspring or is this a mistranslation? Three other questions: Will we know each other in heaven? Will there be genders in heaven? Is heaven our ultimate and final destination or something else?
