Advice for millennials who can't seem to find or keep a job:
1. Don't put "gamer" on your resume as one of your skills.
2. Plan on staying in one job for at least a few years (not a few months).
3. When you show up for the interview, dress up, no matter what kind of job you are applying for.
4. Show up for the interview—15 minutes before it starts.
5. Be brilliant during the interview.
6. Always show up for work early. Always.
7. Never, ever call in sick unless you are truly sick and unable to work.
8. Missing your shift should be rare.
9. Work very, very hard.
10. Don't confuse work for fun. You are there to complete tasks, not to be entertained.
11. Lower your expectations, start at the bottom and earn your promotions.
12. Smile, be positive, refuse to complain, never gossip with coworkers and exhibit impeccable character.
13. Use social media to impress potential employers by posting appropriate content, using proper punctuation and spelling and revealing your commitment to excellence in life.
14. Do everything you can to continually impress your employer, making it easy for them to consider you for raises and promotions.
15. Grow up, be an adult and realize the rest of your life will not be about fun and games. Being responsible, having integrity and possessing a strong work ethic are requirements for a successful life.
