Blaming others is a sure sign you are eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil instead of the tree of life.

Eve blamed the serpent.

Adam blamed Eve.

Blaming our parents, pastors, politicians, our bosses and anyone else results in offense and emotional imprisonment. It's brings spiritual death.

This victim mentality demands retribution instead of offering forgiveness. Gossip and finger-pointing destroy unity and love.

We are called to bless those who curse us. If we eat from the tree of life, that becomes quite easy as we are entirely unoffendable.
