00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:08,200
Hello everyone, I'm Stephen Strang and welcome to the special edition of the Strang Report for Tuesday July 16th.
2
00:00:08,200 --> 00:00:14,600
You know with everything that's happening with President Trump and the election and the assassination attempt,
3
00:00:15,000 --> 00:00:23,000
you know something is going on in the spirit and today my guest Bishop Joseph Mattera is going to help us to understand
4
00:00:23,000 --> 00:00:30,000
the signs and symbols and the things that God is saying prophetically and how to discern the times.
5
00:00:30,000 --> 00:00:40,000
You don't want to miss this conversation with Bishop Joseph Mattera of the Christ Covenant Coalition who's been a respected
6
00:00:40,000 --> 00:00:44,000
prophetic voice in this country for many, many years.
7
00:00:44,000 --> 00:00:52,000
And if you agree with the kinds of things that we're covering on the Strang Report, you need to be sure to subscribe, share this with other people.
8
00:00:52,000 --> 00:00:59,000
Let's get it go viral at a time that everyone seems to be more open to spiritual things. Stay tuned.
9
00:01:09,000 --> 00:01:16,000
Welcome back. Well, I'm glad to talk to Bishop Joseph Mattera today. He's a respected prophetic voice.
10
00:01:16,000 --> 00:01:27,000
And with what just happened with the failed assassination attempt of Donald Trump, everyone seems to be talking about what a miracle it was.
11
00:01:27,000 --> 00:01:38,000
In fact, as I'm glued to the TV screen and scrolling on all the different news sites, it just seems like a lot of people are talking about prayer and God and miracles.
12
00:01:38,000 --> 00:01:47,000
Some people are even mentioning angelic preservation. And, you know, this often happens in a time of crisis. We remember what happened after 9-11,
13
00:01:47,000 --> 00:01:52,000
how everybody was, quote, religious for a few weeks. And I think we're seeing some of that.
14
00:01:52,000 --> 00:02:03,000
But it also gives us those of us who believe in the supernatural, who believe in the prophetic to bring some clarity to what's going on.
15
00:02:03,000 --> 00:02:12,000
And so I reached out to my longtime friend, Bishop Mattera. In fact, we set up this podcast before the assassination attempt.
16
00:02:12,000 --> 00:02:20,000
We're going to talk about some of the flaky prophecies that came even about Donald Trump. I want to talk about that a little bit.
17
00:02:20,000 --> 00:02:27,000
But I just really feel that Bishop Mattera has the wisdom and the experience and the credibility to help us understand that.
18
00:02:27,000 --> 00:02:34,000
So I'll start by just welcoming you to the Strangler Report podcast. Thank you for taking time to be on with me.
19
00:02:34,000 --> 00:02:49,000
And it's well known that there were prophecies. In fact, I wrote this book, God and Donald Trump, about the prophecies that happened around 2007 and up to 2016.
20
00:02:49,000 --> 00:02:59,000
The God was going to raise up this businessman who'd never been political to become President of the United States and against all odds that happened.
21
00:02:59,000 --> 00:03:06,000
That's what I explored in this. I did not really delve into flaky prophecies. I just sort of left them out.
22
00:03:06,000 --> 00:03:14,000
But it seemed that there were a few people like Kim Clement, Chuck Pierce, Lance Wallnow. Those are the ones I documented.
23
00:03:14,000 --> 00:03:21,000
They do have credibility. I wanted credibility. I was not doing critique of the prophetic.
24
00:03:21,000 --> 00:03:25,000
I was wanting to document that the prophetic does happen.
25
00:03:25,000 --> 00:03:34,000
However, when Donald Trump ran in 2020, a whole lot of people jumped on the prophetic bandwagon,
26
00:03:34,000 --> 00:03:46,000
and especially after the election when it was called for Joe Biden, and there was all kinds of suspicious belief that the election had somehow been stolen.
27
00:03:46,000 --> 00:03:53,000
There were all kinds of prophetic voices that were saying, no, God has said that Trump is going to win and he's going to turn it over at the last minute,
28
00:03:53,000 --> 00:03:56,000
and Congress is going to do this and that and this and that.
29
00:03:56,000 --> 00:04:07,000
I personally backed off when all that started happening, and then of course it sort of culminated in the riot that took place at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
30
00:04:07,000 --> 00:04:14,000
Now, the other side calls it an insurrection, but an insurrection would have to have guns. It would have to have been organized.
31
00:04:14,000 --> 00:04:22,000
This wasn't. This was a peaceful protest to address the government on regressive, to address their grievances,
32
00:04:22,000 --> 00:04:27,000
which is in the Constitution or wording to that effect.
33
00:04:27,000 --> 00:04:32,000
It just got out of control and it was a small scale riot.
34
00:04:32,000 --> 00:04:39,000
I personally backed off. Let me start by asking you how to interpret that.
35
00:04:39,000 --> 00:04:48,000
Why do you think that some of these prophetic voices, many of whom we had never heard before, and we haven't heard from these people lately,
36
00:04:48,000 --> 00:04:53,000
why do you think that that happened and help us to understand?
37
00:04:53,000 --> 00:05:01,000
Yeah. Well, I wrote a book called The Purpose Process and Power of Prophetic Ministry in response to that.
38
00:05:01,000 --> 00:05:04,000
You get that on Amazon.
39
00:05:04,000 --> 00:05:17,000
And so there was a lot of complicated things that were also psychological behind the scenes that could provoke those kind of prophetic responses.
40
00:05:17,000 --> 00:05:24,000
And one of my chapters is on why the prophets did not have 20-20 vision, you know, a pun.
41
00:05:24,000 --> 00:05:34,000
And, you know, a lot of, unfortunately, there's a lot of legitimate prophetic voices that come out in the beginning stages,
42
00:05:34,000 --> 00:05:40,000
but then people jump on the bandwagon. They see the power of social media.
43
00:05:40,000 --> 00:05:50,000
They end dropping prophetic words, starting to find a lot of followers, and then prophets, just like the average person in America, fall into group think.
44
00:05:50,000 --> 00:05:57,000
And they say, well, this guy prophesied this, so I'm going to have to outdo him or say something similar, or I'll lose some of my followers.
45
00:05:57,000 --> 00:06:07,000
And so some of it was a groundswell, or maybe even a popularity contest between people who purported to have prophetic voices.
46
00:06:07,000 --> 00:06:14,000
And so a lot of it was erroneous because it was not inspired by the spirit of God.
47
00:06:14,000 --> 00:06:19,000
And, you know, and also it preaches well, if I can interrupt.
48
00:06:19,000 --> 00:06:28,000
Yeah, in a conference or even a church setting, someone who's a powerful preacher who can get people to respond.
49
00:06:28,000 --> 00:06:35,000
And, you know, a lot of us, when we're upset about things, we would like to believe, I call it wishful thinking,
50
00:06:35,000 --> 00:06:43,000
that God is going to part the Red Sea. God is going to call fire for heaven, like he did with Elijah, that we're going to see that.
51
00:06:43,000 --> 00:06:53,000
And we do believe that God does act in our day, but not necessarily in those ways or not necessarily because we want God to do it.
52
00:06:53,000 --> 00:06:59,000
But in a setting like that, people respond with amen and all this kind of stuff.
53
00:06:59,000 --> 00:07:05,000
And it seems almost like the level goes higher and higher. What do you think?
54
00:07:05,000 --> 00:07:08,000
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Again, there's psychological pressure.
55
00:07:08,000 --> 00:07:12,000
This group think we see the same thing in cycles of history.
56
00:07:12,000 --> 00:07:20,000
Like in the book of Jeremiah, we see God rebuking the so-called prophets who spoke things out of their own spirit.
57
00:07:20,000 --> 00:07:23,000
They were not in his counsel.
58
00:07:23,000 --> 00:07:31,000
They were crying peace, peace when there was no peace, and only Jeremiah was standing against the majority of prophets.
59
00:07:31,000 --> 00:07:41,000
The same thing we see in 1 Kings 22, when Micaiah was the only prophet, prophet sign that Ahab would be killed in the battle.
60
00:07:41,000 --> 00:07:44,000
The others were prophet sign that they would be victorious.
61
00:07:44,000 --> 00:07:50,000
So even people who are in the prophetic, I mean, Jeremiah doesn't say they weren't prophets.
62
00:07:50,000 --> 00:07:57,000
They were probably legitimate prophets that turned because of psychological pressure because they didn't want to be on the outskirts,
63
00:07:57,000 --> 00:08:03,000
because they didn't want to be against their king or their religious political system.
64
00:08:03,000 --> 00:08:09,000
And they prophesied, didn't even say it was the devil that they prophesied, added their own spirit.
65
00:08:09,000 --> 00:08:17,000
So some of it is psychologically driven and it takes a mature, discerning church to know the difference between that,
66
00:08:17,000 --> 00:08:23,000
which is psychologically and emotively driven and that which is really inspired by God.
67
00:08:23,000 --> 00:08:28,000
So I think we could see the same things taking place today.
68
00:08:28,000 --> 00:08:32,000
A lot of people who are conservatives wanted Donald Trump to win.
69
00:08:32,000 --> 00:08:45,000
They were prophesying that some were accurate, some many, most obviously if they predicted he would be reelected the first time after his first term.
70
00:08:45,000 --> 00:08:48,000
They lost, obviously they were wrong.
71
00:08:48,000 --> 00:08:52,000
But, you know, a lot of it was driven by the angst.
72
00:08:52,000 --> 00:09:01,000
They were upset and the crowds wanted to hear those prophecies that, you know,
73
00:09:01,000 --> 00:09:05,000
comported with what they wanted to hear, which was that Donald Trump would be reelected.
74
00:09:05,000 --> 00:09:12,000
And as far as I know, only two well-known prophetic people actually admitted they were wrong.
75
00:09:12,000 --> 00:09:23,000
Chris Valentin and Jeremiah Johnson and the others said crazy things like Donald Trump is reigning in heaven as president.
76
00:09:23,000 --> 00:09:26,000
Donald Trump really won the election.
77
00:09:26,000 --> 00:09:30,000
So I didn't make a mistake and some I won't mention the names.
78
00:09:30,000 --> 00:09:40,000
I don't like embarrassing people said, you know, let's say March 6 to March 10, you know, Hillary Clinton's going to do a coup and, you know,
79
00:09:40,000 --> 00:09:44,000
Joe Biden's going to be thrown out or Donald Trump's going to be the president.
80
00:09:44,000 --> 00:09:47,000
I tell you, I had a dream this is going to happen.
81
00:09:47,000 --> 00:09:49,000
Thus say it the Lord as soon as I stand here.
82
00:09:49,000 --> 00:09:52,000
And I'm wondering where's the fear of God with some of these people.
83
00:09:52,000 --> 00:09:57,000
They're saying thus say it the Lord and nothing happens.
84
00:09:57,000 --> 00:10:02,000
And I'm still waiting for an apology and they're still prophesying in public.
85
00:10:02,000 --> 00:10:14,000
So I that I can't answer for, but I do believe that a lot of this was psychologically driven to appeal to the masses of people that were their followers.
86
00:10:14,000 --> 00:10:19,000
And unfortunately, Stephen, you know, this as well as I do, some of it is economically driven.
87
00:10:19,000 --> 00:10:21,000
They get a lot of offerings.
88
00:10:21,000 --> 00:10:25,000
They get rich people who want to vote a certain way that will support them.
89
00:10:25,000 --> 00:10:28,000
So some of it could be economics.
90
00:10:28,000 --> 00:10:32,000
You know, this is a bigger issue. There's probably a subject for another day.
91
00:10:32,000 --> 00:10:38,000
But how does the body of Christ police this because there is no central authority like in the Catholic Church?
92
00:10:38,000 --> 00:10:43,000
In fact, we don't really want that kind of ecclesiastical hierarchy.
93
00:10:43,000 --> 00:10:46,000
We have freedom of religion in our country.
94
00:10:46,000 --> 00:10:55,000
And with a few things, they can't do treason or hurt people economically where I guess it could be lawsuits.
95
00:10:55,000 --> 00:11:00,000
Other than that, the government pretty much stays out of the way and we want the government to.
96
00:11:00,000 --> 00:11:03,000
But I think that we've got to hold up a standard.
97
00:11:03,000 --> 00:11:14,000
In fact, in 2021, not long after this happened, you put together a prophetic standard statement, which I really admired you for doing that.
98
00:11:14,000 --> 00:11:17,000
And you got a lot of leaders to sign on to it.
99
00:11:17,000 --> 00:11:22,000
And, you know, I want to move on and talk about what's happened with Donald Trump.
100
00:11:22,000 --> 00:11:39,000
You know, as I mentioned, I did write this book and what Kim Clement in particular, he would, he was probably the clearest and people can go on YouTube and put in Kim Clement, C L E M E N T and Trump prophecy.
101
00:11:39,000 --> 00:11:47,000
And you will find there are two, two videos in particular that have been viewed well over a million times.
102
00:11:47,000 --> 00:11:50,000
And here for yourself, he said that Donald Trump would be elected twice.
103
00:11:50,000 --> 00:11:53,000
He did not say twice in a row.
104
00:11:53,000 --> 00:11:58,000
Now, everyone assumed it'd be two times in a row because that's a normal pattern.
105
00:11:58,000 --> 00:12:03,000
Although we had one president, was it Grover Cleveland?
106
00:12:03,000 --> 00:12:11,000
I'm trying to remember my history lessons from high school who was in and then out and then came back in again.
107
00:12:11,000 --> 00:12:15,000
And the Constitution does allow that even with the two term term limits.
108
00:12:15,000 --> 00:12:19,000
But it looked like Donald Trump was just out.
109
00:12:19,000 --> 00:12:22,000
It looked like the other side had kind of won.
110
00:12:22,000 --> 00:12:36,000
And, you know, if Donald Trump had just retired and gone off to play golf at Bedminster or Mar-a-Lago, none of this, none of these attacks would have happened against him.
111
00:12:36,000 --> 00:12:42,000
But these lawsuits, these frivolous lawsuits, which the Supreme Court has ruled on some.
112
00:12:42,000 --> 00:13:02,000
And then yesterday, the day before, well, the day before we're doing this, the 15th of July, the court threw out the lawsuit having to do with documents being at Mar-a-Lago.
113
00:13:02,000 --> 00:13:07,000
Remember, they raided it like you, like you was a mafia don.
114
00:13:07,000 --> 00:13:19,000
Meanwhile, Joe Biden had kept all kinds of documents when he was a senator and then vice president in his home over a longer period of time.
115
00:13:19,000 --> 00:13:21,000
They never raided the home like that.
116
00:13:21,000 --> 00:13:24,000
And the they didn't prosecute him.
117
00:13:24,000 --> 00:13:32,000
You know, it's like Donald Trump has been, he's been singled out for all of these things.
118
00:13:32,000 --> 00:13:35,000
And now an assassination attempt.
119
00:13:35,000 --> 00:13:37,000
Now, we don't know the details on that.
120
00:13:37,000 --> 00:13:40,000
At this point, we have to just blame this lone shooter.
121
00:13:40,000 --> 00:13:53,000
But, you know, it's a miracle that that guy was a bad shot because the experts are saying that at that range with that gun, it should have been pretty easy to have, you know, hit him.
122
00:13:53,000 --> 00:14:02,000
So help me to understand what you think God is saying and doing and what you think is going to happen now with Donald Trump.
123
00:14:02,000 --> 00:14:06,000
I mean, this week is Republican National Convention.
124
00:14:06,000 --> 00:14:07,000
He's a big hero.
125
00:14:07,000 --> 00:14:18,000
A lot of people that maybe had listened to MSNBC one time too many where, you know, they were, you know, criticizing him for this and that and this and that.
126
00:14:18,000 --> 00:14:28,000
You know, after a while, you know, they call that gaslighting where you hear the wrong thing so much that you start believing it and believing that somehow you're wrong.
127
00:14:28,000 --> 00:14:33,000
I think a lot of those people are saying what's really going on and they're coming.
128
00:14:33,000 --> 00:14:36,000
You know, they're backing him now.
129
00:14:36,000 --> 00:14:41,000
What do you think is going to happen and where do you think God is in all this?
130
00:14:41,000 --> 00:14:44,000
Okay, well, let me just say this to be honest.
131
00:14:44,000 --> 00:14:47,000
I always try to be an integrist person.
132
00:14:47,000 --> 00:14:51,000
I didn't want Donald Trump to be the nominee the first or second time.
133
00:14:51,000 --> 00:14:56,000
And I was hoping somebody else would because of his flawed character.
134
00:14:56,000 --> 00:15:07,000
That being said, you can't deny that God had to be with him the other day because if he had just turned a half an inch, he would have been dead.
135
00:15:07,000 --> 00:15:09,000
His brains would have been blown out.
136
00:15:09,000 --> 00:15:12,000
I also believe that God does things symbolically.
137
00:15:12,000 --> 00:15:25,000
And so supposedly before that rally, there was an entangled flag that actually looked from a distance like it was in the shape of an angel.
138
00:15:25,000 --> 00:15:28,000
Almost like an angel or maybe a dove.
139
00:15:28,000 --> 00:15:36,000
And it almost looked like a sign that God was protecting those who came or his hand was there.
140
00:15:36,000 --> 00:15:44,000
And of course, one person died and our condolences go out to that family and that's nothing to sneer at.
141
00:15:44,000 --> 00:15:48,000
That was a horrible tragedy even with Donald Trump's survival.
142
00:15:48,000 --> 00:15:54,000
But the fact that he survived and only grazed his ear has to be a miracle.
143
00:15:54,000 --> 00:15:57,000
I don't care if that happened to you or me or anybody.
144
00:15:57,000 --> 00:15:59,000
We would say, hey, man, we were dead.
145
00:15:59,000 --> 00:16:04,000
So you could almost say symbolically and God does things symbolically.
146
00:16:04,000 --> 00:16:07,000
There was a death and a resurrection.
147
00:16:07,000 --> 00:16:10,000
He was grazed, hit in the head.
148
00:16:10,000 --> 00:16:11,000
He ducked down.
149
00:16:11,000 --> 00:16:12,000
He was out of sight.
150
00:16:12,000 --> 00:16:18,000
Then he came up and we see God doing a lot of things in symbols.
151
00:16:18,000 --> 00:16:22,000
I mean, historically, I believe everything is based on the Amago day.
152
00:16:22,000 --> 00:16:30,000
We're made in his image and his story becomes all of our stories in more ways than one.
153
00:16:30,000 --> 00:16:36,000
Joseph Campbell, the philosopher, actually wrote a book called The Hero with a Thousand Faces.
154
00:16:36,000 --> 00:16:40,000
And he talked about how there's common things in every religion or myth.
155
00:16:40,000 --> 00:16:48,000
And one of those common things is that there is a crisis with the hero, sometimes a death and then a resurrection.
156
00:16:48,000 --> 00:17:00,000
And so we see how even in the life, the death, burial, resurrection of Christ, and not an accident in history is made before and after Christ.
157
00:17:00,000 --> 00:17:12,000
We look at that marker after his birth as our way of gauging our calendars in history, that in many ways, our story can only be understood in history.
158
00:17:12,000 --> 00:17:22,000
And so somehow or another, there was a symbolic death and a symbolic resurrection, not that Donald Trump is Jesus or the Messiah.
159
00:17:22,000 --> 00:17:38,000
Of course not, but it almost was pointing to the gospel and pointing to the fact that God's hand is upon this country, this nation, and maybe as a sign to the unbelieving world that they need to repent,
160
00:17:38,000 --> 00:17:43,000
they need to believe that only God could have protected this man.
161
00:17:43,000 --> 00:17:55,000
In the natural, when you look at what happened and he comes up, blood coming down his face, finch clenched with the American flag in the background, you couldn't make this stuff up.
162
00:17:55,000 --> 00:18:03,000
I mean, that's got to be one of the most iconic pictures in history, put in the top three or five in American history.
163
00:18:03,000 --> 00:18:09,000
And I said to a lot of my friends, I think I even tweeted this, that I think he just secured the election.
164
00:18:09,000 --> 00:18:21,000
I mean, because you contrast that picture of strength with the feeble president who in the past few weeks was fighting for his own survival.
165
00:18:21,000 --> 00:18:35,000
And this guy could hardly find his way to the podium, has to be helped off the podium after, you know, a debacle of many sorts in many press conferences, and especially the debate.
166
00:18:35,000 --> 00:18:40,000
Obama had to help him off once after a press conference.
167
00:18:40,000 --> 00:18:47,000
And you see that with the strength of Donald Trump arising after almost being killed.
168
00:18:47,000 --> 00:18:54,000
I mean, people want a strong leader. And I think that pushed a lot of independence his way.
169
00:18:54,000 --> 00:18:59,000
I don't think he would push any of the staunch Democrats his way.
170
00:18:59,000 --> 00:19:04,000
Maybe I'm wrong, but definitely independence or people that weren't committed.
171
00:19:04,000 --> 00:19:07,000
And more and more people are going to come out now in favor of him.
172
00:19:07,000 --> 00:19:12,000
So, yeah, I mean, I think it was a very telling thing.
173
00:19:12,000 --> 00:19:14,000
Was it prophetic? I don't know.
174
00:19:14,000 --> 00:19:17,000
Did someone really prophesy that? I don't know.
175
00:19:17,000 --> 00:19:30,000
In terms of the nature of the prophetic, I am very concerned because in Revelation chapter 19 verse 10, it says the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
176
00:19:30,000 --> 00:19:42,000
And so when people prophesy regarding elections without it, either indirectly or directly pointing to the cross, the gospel and the advanced of the kingdom,
177
00:19:42,000 --> 00:19:47,000
I would say that that doesn't fit the criteria of a real biblical prophecy.
178
00:19:47,000 --> 00:19:53,000
Someone could argue well in the book of Isaiah, especially the last few chapters of Jeremiah.
179
00:19:53,000 --> 00:19:59,000
Jeremiah is prophesying about different nations, Babylon and Persia and all these nations.
180
00:19:59,000 --> 00:20:07,000
And so you could argue that we could prophesy about politics, but that was talking about the Goiom,
181
00:20:07,000 --> 00:20:13,000
the Gentile nations that God promised Abraham would all come into the fold.
182
00:20:13,000 --> 00:20:16,000
He said, in you all the nations that are earth would be blessed.
183
00:20:16,000 --> 00:20:21,000
And that was pointing towards how God's hand is on all nations.
184
00:20:21,000 --> 00:20:30,000
And there would come a time when in Psalm 2, as it's prophesied that the Son of God would say all the nations are mine.
185
00:20:30,000 --> 00:20:33,000
He would claim all the nations as his inheritance.
186
00:20:33,000 --> 00:20:41,000
And so there was even some kind of kingdom agenda in those prophecies about nations.
187
00:20:41,000 --> 00:20:49,000
And so I'm concerned about prophecies that aren't ultimately pointing to Christ, pointing to the advancement of the kingdom.
188
00:20:49,000 --> 00:20:56,000
Some of it could be just like I said before, politically driven or psychologically driven.
189
00:20:56,000 --> 00:21:03,000
And some prophecies quite frankly could even be a form of divination.
190
00:21:03,000 --> 00:21:11,000
I don't know the lifestyle of some of these people and I can't vouch for all of these people.
191
00:21:11,000 --> 00:21:17,000
So we don't understand the spirit world and some people can get so spiritual,
192
00:21:17,000 --> 00:21:22,000
maybe they're getting in the wrong spirit and are involved and engaged in fortune telling,
193
00:21:22,000 --> 00:21:25,000
especially the ones that are opportunists.
194
00:21:25,000 --> 00:21:29,000
I think this is so important and your insight is so important.
195
00:21:29,000 --> 00:21:42,000
I'll just add to it before I ask you to pray to wrap up this short podcast that I believe that sometimes people are so fervent in what they believe in a good way.
196
00:21:42,000 --> 00:21:46,000
They really want something to happen and so it becomes wishful thinking.
197
00:21:46,000 --> 00:21:50,000
And it's kind of like if I were God, I would make this happen.
198
00:21:50,000 --> 00:21:53,000
And so certainly God is going to make this happen.
199
00:21:53,000 --> 00:21:56,000
Some of it can be explained that way.
200
00:21:56,000 --> 00:21:58,000
But I think your insight is very important.
201
00:21:58,000 --> 00:22:04,000
We could talk about this a lot and over the weeks coming up to the election,
202
00:22:04,000 --> 00:22:09,000
we will be dealing with some of these kinds of things, trying to understand where God is in all this.
203
00:22:09,000 --> 00:22:16,000
One of the things in this book, God and Donald Trump and people can probably the easiest way is just pick it up on Amazon.
204
00:22:16,000 --> 00:22:22,000
Does a deep dive into this question, does God use imperfect leaders?
205
00:22:22,000 --> 00:22:25,000
Because you had referred to that about Donald Trump before.
206
00:22:25,000 --> 00:22:34,000
And I'll admit that there was a time, I was never a Trumper, but I was a Ted Cruz guy initially because I knew we needed someone tough.
207
00:22:34,000 --> 00:22:37,000
We needed someone tough and Ted Cruz is tough.
208
00:22:37,000 --> 00:22:45,000
Of course, time has proven that Donald Trump is 10 times, maybe 100 times tougher than Ted Cruz.
209
00:22:45,000 --> 00:22:52,000
I don't think Bishop Mattera that anybody else could have put up with what he's put up with.
210
00:22:52,000 --> 00:22:59,000
Most people would have just crumbled and retired from the scene and said it's not worth it.
211
00:22:59,000 --> 00:23:01,000
But he is tough.
212
00:23:01,000 --> 00:23:05,000
I believe that God has raised him up in perfections at all.
213
00:23:05,000 --> 00:23:10,000
And aren't we glad that God uses imperfect people because that means that he can use you and me.
214
00:23:10,000 --> 00:23:21,000
So as we wrap this up, I want you to tell us and tell my viewers how they can connect with your ministry after watching the podcast.
215
00:23:21,000 --> 00:23:29,000
And people should be sure to share this with others who you know want spiritual insight into what's happening.
216
00:23:29,000 --> 00:23:31,000
So how can they get hold of you?
217
00:23:31,000 --> 00:23:35,000
And then I want you to tell us how we should be praying.
218
00:23:35,000 --> 00:23:37,000
How should the body of Christ be praying?
219
00:23:37,000 --> 00:23:43,000
Why should we do and then wrap up with a prayer and we'll end the podcast that way?
220
00:23:43,000 --> 00:23:45,000
Okay, wonderful. Thank you.
221
00:23:45,000 --> 00:23:48,000
Well, they could connect with me by going to my website.
222
00:23:48,000 --> 00:23:55,000
It's just my name, Joseph Mattera with two T's M-A-T-T-E-R-A dot org.
223
00:23:55,000 --> 00:23:56,000
There are 16 books.
224
00:23:56,000 --> 00:23:58,000
There are thousands of articles.
225
00:23:58,000 --> 00:24:02,000
By the way, I have a weekly article on charisma called the pulse.
226
00:24:02,000 --> 00:24:10,000
So you could actually see me on charisma on their online magazine and Amazon lists all the books.
227
00:24:10,000 --> 00:24:12,000
And there's another book coming out in another month.
228
00:24:12,000 --> 00:24:16,000
So that's one way to connect with me.
229
00:24:16,000 --> 00:24:24,000
And I'm thrilled to be able to be on this podcast, thrilled to be able to share with the viewers of the Strang Report.
230
00:24:24,000 --> 00:24:28,000
And thank you for giving me the opportunity to pray.
231
00:24:28,000 --> 00:24:29,000
So let us pray.
232
00:24:29,000 --> 00:24:31,000
Father, we thank you for this country.
233
00:24:31,000 --> 00:24:40,000
We know that you had your hand on this nation as you do all nations when you said that all the nations will be your inheritance.
234
00:24:40,000 --> 00:24:46,000
And so, Father, we pray that the redemptive purpose of the United States of America would not be toward it.
235
00:24:46,000 --> 00:24:52,000
We pray that you would use not only Donald Trump, but you would use the body of Christ.
236
00:24:52,000 --> 00:24:58,000
You'd use all of us to be able to stand in the place we're supposed to stand.
237
00:24:58,000 --> 00:25:02,000
That we would pray that your will would be done on earth as it is in heaven.
238
00:25:02,000 --> 00:25:05,000
And we would pray above all that your kingdom would come.
239
00:25:05,000 --> 00:25:11,000
And we know that your kingdom isn't necessarily the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, the Independent Party.
240
00:25:11,000 --> 00:25:13,000
Your kingdom is not of this world.
241
00:25:13,000 --> 00:25:27,000
And so we pray that the party that best represents and replicates principles of your kingdom and that party that would best be able to fulfill the assignment of that which you have.
242
00:25:27,000 --> 00:25:31,000
For the United States would be elected.
243
00:25:31,000 --> 00:25:34,000
That they would be godly people elected.
244
00:25:34,000 --> 00:25:45,000
And people who would be elected whether they've saved or not, that would be those that you would providentially use to perpetuate the purpose of your kingdom.
245
00:25:45,000 --> 00:25:48,000
And so, Lord, we give you the praise and glory.
246
00:25:48,000 --> 00:25:50,000
We know you're not done with this country.
247
00:25:50,000 --> 00:25:57,000
We know the best is yet to come if the church would humble themselves, seek your face, turn from our wicked ways.
248
00:25:57,000 --> 00:25:59,000
We believe you will heal our land.
249
00:25:59,000 --> 00:26:02,000
In Jesus' name, amen.
250
00:26:02,000 --> 00:26:03,000
Amen.
251
00:26:03,000 --> 00:26:10,000
If you agree with this podcast and if White Bishop Matira resonated with you, share it with others.
252
00:26:10,000 --> 00:26:11,000
Put it on social media.
253
00:26:11,000 --> 00:26:13,000
Email it to friends.
254
00:26:13,000 --> 00:26:15,000
And be sure to leave your comments.
255
00:26:15,000 --> 00:26:16,000
I enjoy reading them.
256
00:26:16,000 --> 00:26:25,000
And if you're interested in finding out more about the prophecies about Donald Trump, this was written in 2017, but it's still valid.
257
00:26:25,000 --> 00:26:26,000
There's a lot of good information.
258
00:26:26,000 --> 00:26:35,000
In future editions of the Strang Report, I'll be doing a deep dive into some of the things that I learned about Donald Trump that are still valid today.
259
00:26:35,000 --> 00:26:38,000
You can get this book many different places.
260
00:26:38,000 --> 00:26:40,000
It's probably easiest on Amazon.com.
261
00:26:40,000 --> 00:26:42,000
Thank you for watching the Strang Report.
262
00:26:42,000 --> 00:26:53,000
I'm doing more live editions in addition to being on every Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
263
00:26:53,000 --> 00:27:13,000
Until next time, God bless you.
