“Prophetic Acts” and Charismatic Religion
Did you know that prophetic acts were never meant to “get God to do something?” In fact, this now popular use of prophetic “formula” is a dangerous road rooted in paganistic practices, producing a spiritual apathy in the Charismatic Church world. Amazingly, the only two times you see a prophetic act in the New Testament, they had nothing to do with moving the hand of God. No wonder why after 30 plus years of using every prophetic act and mystical formula we can come up with, we have not “unlocked a revival to fix our nation.” But there is hope! The New Testament does reveal a more sure way of discipling our nations.
