Hopeful Encouragement for Parents of Prodigals
As the mom of children who have struggled with addiction. Judy has blessed me through her words of encouragement over the years. I am grateful for this podcast that always meets me right where i am at and encourages me to trust the Lord with my prodigal.

Encouraging words
Great support and encouragement for any parent with a wayward child.

The best mentor!
When I listen to Judy’s podcast, I realize that I am being mentored by one of God’s best. It’s a privilege to partake of her lifetime of studying God‘s word and living it out. Judy’s soothing voice and calming manner are an added bonus, inviting us to rest in God‘s faithful care. Thank you Judy!

Candid, Real, Special, Healing Journey
I’ve followed her on Instagram since about 2018 but was prompted to listen to podcast when I learned of Judy’s recent loss… Once I listened, I wanted to go back to the beginning to learn how her journey started…since then, been listening to 1, 2 or 3 a day…play some back several times (to take notes) and absolutely love the hope and candidness of a painful journey that can only come from a strong faith that is clearly nourished day by day in prayer, bathed in God’s Word and a beautiful support of family and friends. Truly one of the BEST podcasts of persevering faith, hope and love I’ve ever heard. Paying it forward by sharing it with the many friends who, like me, are or were blessed with a prodigal. It’s truly a calling and a gift that requires a love and patience that can only come from God. We love because He first loved us… Faith, Hope and Love…but the greatest of these is Love, Amen. Thank you for blessing us with your precious journey!

Healing balm
Oh how I need to be reminded of the hope in these podcasts. It’s like healing balm on my weary soul!

What a BLESSING
When you love a prodigal you can feel like you are the only one. Judy has become like a friend walking me through this and encourage me in my walk with the Lord. I’M SO GRATEFUL! I highly recommend listening.

Answer to prayer!
I just loved episode 63 (The Source of Peace and Power) and needed it so much! I actually opened my podcast app, praying that God would lead me to one on peace … and yours had just shown up in my library. I have listened to it 3 times. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I have found many of these episodes so timely and encouraging! Judy is genuine in sharing her own story and yet hopeful and inspiring. The lessons learned have been helpful to me in many aspects of parenting and not just with a “prodigal” in mind.

Love the Encouragement to Forgive!!!
Each episode is so rich with practical encouragement in the journey of Loving a Prodigal. I especially like June Hunt’s episode and encouragement to forgive… even if it is 2% of the wrong. Judy’s heart and wisdom and love for others is so comforting and helpful. I highly recommend listening!!!

Powerful
Wow! You’ll be encouraged and look through the eyes of compassion for everyone. Josh’s story especially will touch your heart and give you a much needed boost of hope for your prodigal.

He Sees, He Hears
I just listened to your Nov. 9th podcast. Thank you Judy for the beautiful reminders of how our God sees and hears us. I loved how you shared about how homeless people feel invisible. This gives me a greater compassion for them. I’m trying to reach out and help them more but knowing how they feel tells me a lot. We are never invisible to our loving God. He is always listening to us and sees our cries for help.

Personal
I feel like I am sitting in Judy’s home getting counseling and words of help and encouragement from her. She is so honest, Christ-centered, caring, and wise. She helps me endure the pain. Thank you Judy!

life changing
Judy’s warmth and honesty combined with grace and truth are very refreshing and encouraging.

My oxygen mask
Thank you Judy. You’re show is turning my eyes to my truest hope in Jesus. Your encouragement is helping me to take courage when my heart and spirit feel faint

Practical guidelines to living out our faith
Thanks so much, Judy, for your easygoing way of addressing an issue many of us face. Your practical helps were a timely reminder not just for prodigals but in all our relationships.

Relatable
I’m grateful this podcast and resource exists. We need more people talking about the practical and relatable steps to caring for a loved one in this way!

On the Journey
Wow! What a scary standoff between your husband and your son. Thanks for sharing some of the hardships of the prodigal journey.

Hopeful
I am excited to get to know Judy and her journey through the prodigal wilderness during her new podcast. Knowing I’m not alone makes me feel hopeful. Thank you, Judy!

Important
The famous pastor Charles Spurgeon said, “Evangelism is one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.” Prodigals might be you or I, and most definitely are people we love. I’m looking forward to the lessons learned and how we can better love with the love of Jesus the prodigals in our life.
